Horretarako, azaltzen da zein testuinguru teorikotan kokatzen den eta zein jakintzaz baliatzen den; ondoren, metodologia etnolinguistikoaren berri ematen da, datuak sailkatu, interpretatu eta azaltzeko. Behin hori eginda, fenomeno atmosferiko nagusien lexikoaren azterketaren emaitza behinenak adierazten dira, eta, azkenik, lexiko guztia aintzat harturik, ondorio nagusien berri ematen da.  This article is a summary of the thesis called ¨A study of the ethnometeorological lexicon¨. For this purpose, we will first explain the theoretical context in which it is placed, and the science in which it is applied. Once this has been done, we will discuss the ethnolinguistics methodology used in order to classify, interpret, and explain data. Then, we will proceed to present the earliest results of the study of the lexic of major atmospheric phenomena; and, finally, we shall draw our final conclusions, taking into account the results that have been achieved.This article is a summary of the thesis called “A study of the ethnometeorological lexicon”.
