Horretarako, estandar konposizional eta plurizentriko terminoen definizioetatik abiatuta, euskara estandarraren (euskara batuaren) hautatzearen eta kodifikazioaren zenbait ezaugarri nabarmenduko ditugu arreta berezia jarrita aldakortasun kontzeptuan. Euskara estandarraren gaurko idatzizko erabilerei ere erreparatuko diegu, zehazki, Bizkaiko eta Iparraldekoei. Datu horien guztien argitan, eta kontuan izanik soziolinguistek zein ezaugarri nabarmentzen dituzten zentro anitzeko estandarretan, defendatuko dugu euskararen aldaera estandarra konposizionaltzat hartu behar dela.This work aims to analyze standard Basque, unified Basque, from the perspective of compositionality and pluricentricity. For this purpose, based on the definitions of the terms compositional standard and pluricentric standard, we will highlight some features of the selection and codification of standard Basque (Unified Basque) with a special focus on the concept of variation. We will also pay attention to the current written uses of standard Basque, specifically those in Bizkaia and in the Northern Basque Country. In the light of all these data, and taking into account the characteristics that sociolinguists highlight for a standard variety to be considered pluricentric, we will argue that the standard variant of Basque should be considered compositional.This work aims to analyze standard Basque, unified Basque, from the perspective of compositionality and pluricentricity.
