Alderdi biografiko eta bibliografikoen, bai eta zenbait gogoetaren ondoren, Jondane Phetiriren Epitriac testuaren sorrera azalduko da, itzulpenaren iturrien aniztasuna agerian utziz. Edizioa 1873ko eta 1887ko argitaraldien ale banaren transkripzioan oinarritua da. Bi argitaraldi horietan atzeman diren hutsak zuzendurik, irakurleari testu originala berreraiki nahi duen bertsioa eskaintzen zaio. Azken buruan, lanaren xedea Ana Ürrütiren obraren ezagumendua hedatzea da.This study presents a critical edition of a Basque-language translation of the Petrine Epistles by Anna Urruty, a Basque evangelist and writer from the Country of Soule. Following a discussion of biographical and bibliographical aspects of, as well as certain reflections on the text, it examines the origins of Jondane Phetiriren Epitriac, highlighting the diversity of sources which informed the translation. The critical edition is based on the transcription of copies from the 1873 and 1887 printings. Errors identified in these editions have been corrected to provide the reader with a version that seeks to reconstruct the original text.
