Whilst Biscayan, geographically located in the extreme West of the Basque Country, has been regarded as so divergent from the other varieties that a different origin has even been postulated for it, we, on the other hand, find, certain characteristics to be curiously repeated in Biscayan and in other more or less distant varieties.
