This article analyses the effects of the zoning policy on the revitalization of the Basque language and the reduction of territorial disparities by comparing the Basque Autonomous Community and the Foral Community of Navarre located in the Iberian peninsula. It defends the hypothesis according to which zoning not only leads to a lower increase in the Basque language, but also tends to crystallise territorial disparities. It is particularly true when that concern the competence and use of the Basque language. The Social and Living Conditions Survey carried out in 2018 by the Government of Navarre, the VI Sociolinguistic Map of 2016 carried out by the Basque Government and the VII Sociolinguistic Survey realized in 2021 par both autonomous executives provide evidence for this hypothesis.</dc:description><dc:identifier>https://journals.openedition.org/linx/12516</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://journals.openedition.org/linx/pdf/12516</dc:identifier><dc:relation>vignette : https://www.bilketa.eus/in/rest/Thumb/image?id=ark:/27020/OpenEdition/linx/12516&amp;mat=articleNum</dc:relation><dc:language>fre</dc:language><dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/</dc:rights><dc:subject>effet</dc:subject><dc:subject>zonification</dc:subject><dc:subject>revitalisation</dc:subject><dc:subject>langue basque</dc:subject><dc:subject>Euskadi</dc:subject><dc:subject>Navarre</dc:subject><dc:subject>effect</dc:subject><dc:subject>zonification</dc:subject><dc:subject>revitalization</dc:subject><dc:subject>Basque language</dc:subject><dc:subject>Euskadi</dc:subject><dc:subject>Navarre</dc:subject><dc:title>Les effets de la zonification sur la revitalisation de la langue basque</dc:title></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
