Las restricciones y ataques a las prácticas políticas se envuelven entre un marco internacional (una guerra entre la España del Frente Popular y la España españolista), y otro más local (una guerra entre las ideas de una izquierda revolucionaria en el país suramericano).The article deals with the political persecutions that the Basque exiles went through in Venezuela between 1936 and 1958; their establishment and the political and cultural networks they developed either clandestinely or more openly depending on the Venezuelan government’s ideological proximity or antagonism with the Francoist regime.
