Les médecins généralistes ont été intégrés progressivement dans la gestion de la pandémie afin de soulager la pression hospitalière. Ils ont dû adapter leurs organisations afin de prendre en charge les patients atteints du COVID-19 et les autres patients. Nous avons voulu leur laisser la parole pour nous raconter leur vécu. Objectif : décrire l’évolution des pratiques des médecins généralistes du Pays Basque concernant l’organisation personnelle, matérielle et des soins au cabinet durant la pandémie de COVID-19. Méthode : étude qualitative par entretiens semi-dirigés auprès de médecins du pays basque entre le 1er janvier 2021 et le 1er juillet 2021. Résultats : les principaux changements organisationnels concernaient surtout la réorganisation du planning, la majoration de l’hygiène et l’émergence de la téléconsultation et de la dématérialisation des documents. Les médecins ont dû faire face à l’inconnu de la pathologie, à l'infodémie, au manque de matériel de protection et au manque d’aide pratique de nos tutelles publiques. Mais la pandémie a aussi permis de resserrer les liens entre les médecins, entre les acteurs de soins du territoire et de renforcer le lien ville-hôpital, elle a prouvé également l’intérêt de travailler en groupe pour la coordination et poursuite des soins, et pour la gestion des soins non programmés. Conclusion : ces changements préfigurent l’évolution possible du métier de médecin généraliste et l’organisation future des cabinets-maisons de santé et de leur regroupement en CPTS.Introduction: the coronavirus disease COVID-19 has gone from an isolated outbreak of pneumonia linked to an emerging virus in the city of Wuhan in China, in a few months, to a global pandemic declared by the WHO on March 11, 2020. Doctors GPs have been gradually integrated into the management of the pandemic in order to relieve hospital pressure. They had to adapt their usual organizations in order to take care of patients with COVID-19 and other patients. We wanted to give them the floor to tell us about their experiences. Objective: to describe the evolution of the practices of general practitioners in the Basque Country regarding the organization of personal, material and care in the office during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: qualitative study by semi-structured interviews with doctors in the Basque country between January 1, 2021 and July 1, 2021. Results: the main organizational changes concerned the reorganization of planning, the increase in hygiene and the emergence of teleconsultation and the dematerialization of documents. Doctors have had to deal with the unknown pathology, the infodemic, the lack of protective equipment and the lack of practical help from our public authorities. But the pandemic has also made it possible to strengthen the links between doctors, between the care players in the territory and to strengthen the city-hospital link, it has also proven the interest of working in groups for the coordination and continuation of care, and for the management of unscheduled care.
